Jewel Box

OLE GJERLØV KNUDSEN (1930-)

It all began with the concept of a large, turned bowl constructed of ribs in a quincuncial arrangement. Then came the idea of the base divided into six that penetrates the bowl to form partitions. In this way, the jewel box emerged as a small independent item of furniture.
